Prosto z Mediolanu! Trendy z Salone del Mobile i nasza radosna kolekcja Kunesti „Have some joy”

Straight from Milan! Trends from Salone del Mobile and our joyful Kunesti collection "Have some joy"

in Kunesti Blog

World-class design is born in Italy. This year, we couldn't miss the most important event in the interior design industry in Europe – Salone del Mobile Milano. Traversing kilometers of inspiring exhibitions at Fiera Milano, we looked for confirmation of the direction modern outdoor space design is heading.

We can proudly admit one thing: our latest collection of outdoor furniture, "Have some joy" by Kunesti, is an absolute bullseye. It perfectly reflects what currently reigns supreme in global living rooms. What trends dominated Milan, and why does our collection fit them so perfectly?

1. Blurring the lines between indoors and the garden (Indoor-Outdoor Flow)

During this year's Salone del Mobile, we noticed a clear trend: patio and garden furniture increasingly resemble luxury living room furnishings. The days of simple, uncomfortable plastic are over. Today, the outdoor zone is an extension of our home.

The Kunesti "Have some joy" collection was designed with exactly this spirit in mind. Its look – soft lines, rounded shapes, and upholstered elements with high resistance to weather conditions – means this furniture could successfully stand in an elegant living room. It provides otherworldly comfort while being 100% adapted to the whims of the weather.

2. Colors that bring joy – the main trend from Milan

Milan was buzzing with life and color this year! Warm, joyful shades dominated, intended to boost our energy and improve our mood. Designers moved away from raw, cold grays in favor of colors inspired by nature, but with a touch of madness – rust and terracotta reign supreme in 2026.

The name of our collection didn't come out of nowhere. "Have some joy" is a tribute to spending time outdoors joyfully. The color palette of Kunesti furniture fits perfectly into Milanese color schemes. The juicy yet elegant color accents of our furniture enliven every space, creating a summery, carefree vibe in your own garden.

3. Organic design and modularity

Another takeaway from our visit to Salone del Mobile: furniture must adapt to the user, not the other way around. Modular lounge systems and forms inspired by nature—soft, devoid of sharp edges—are king.

Kunesti outdoor leisure furniture delights with its modern yet cozy look. The modular design of the "Have some joy" collection allows for free configuration of the layout—regardless of whether you have a large garden or an intimate patio at your disposal.

Italian design available immediately

You don't have to fly to Milan to furnish your patio in accordance with the latest global trends. Top-class design, comfort, and colors full of joy are within your reach.

How to decorate a terrace for the change of seasons? A guide to autumn outdoor relaxation

As August slowly gives way to the crispness of September, the rhythm of home life doesn't have to be confined within the four walls of the living room. The sun sits lower, casting a uniquely warm, buttery light, and the heat of the afternoon turns into pleasant, refreshing air. It is the perfect moment to slow down and celebrate long conversations under the stars. The turn of the seasons is a time when an elegant home terrace takes on a completely new, intimate character. Just a few simple changes in arrangement and a thoughtful approach to textures are enough for your backyard sanctuary to serve you well into late autumn. 1. A sensual blend of textures: Throws, light, and the scent of nature With cooler evenings, materials begin to play the most important role in the lounge area. Coziness is built in layers, combining the sense of touch with the right lighting design: Layered fabrics: Airy, summer cushions are worth supplementing with thick, plush throws featuring wool or combed wool in shades of sand, warm caramel, and emerald green. A dense weave retains the heat accumulated during the day, allowing you to spend time outdoors in comfort. Low, accent lighting: Replace harsh overhead lighting with an intimate theatre of shadows. Portable lanterns placed directly on the terrace decking and candles in glass covers build an intimate atmosphere, while the soft light dances charmingly across the furniture textures. Scents of the turning months: Mellow September is the time for herbs and grasses. Place sprigs of dried lavender, rosemary, or crushed sage on the coffee table, which, when combined with a warm ginger infusion, soothe an overstimulated nervous system. 2. September floral arrangements in pots: What to plant at the end of summer? Tidying up garden beds doesn't mean giving up on mature, noble greenery. Instead of fading summer flowers, it is worth introducing species that reach their peak form right now: Pampas grass and fountain grass: Their fluffy plumes ripple softly in the wind, creating a natural, calming screen that shields the relaxation zone from the hustle and bustle of the city. Heather and stonecrop: Silvery leaves and buttery, powdery shades blend perfectly with the muted color palette of newly designed spaces. Flowering kale and dusty miller: They add structure to ceramic pots and maintain an impeccable appearance even during the first morning frosts. When the raw, mature greenery of plants meets the warm, matte frame of furniture supports and resilient cushions, the entire lounge area becomes a cohesive part of the landscape architecture. 3. The taste of early autumn: A simple recipe for a warming rosemary infusion A good afternoon in the fresh air requires a setting that warms from within. Instead of iced lemonades, at the threshold of September, it is worth reaching for an infusion of fresh herbs and citrus. Ingredients: 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary 3 slices of a ripe orange 2 slices of fresh ginger 1 tablespoon of heather or wildflower honey Hot, but not boiling water (approx. 80°C) Preparation: Place the rosemary and ginger in a spacious glass pitcher. Gently press the orange slices with a spoon so they release a bit of juice. Pour the hot water over everything, add the honey, and leave covered for 5 minutes. Serve in thick ceramic mugs that keep your hands warm for a long time as you watch the sun set over the garden herb patch. An investment in everyday tranquility A modern garden relaxation zone is no longer just a seasonal addition, but a natural extension of the home living room. Whether you are arranging a spacious terrace in a Warsaw villa or a cozy backyard garden, the key remains the quality of the selected materials and comfort that does not require any compromises from you. Take care of your space at the turn of the seasons and treat yourself to even more leisurely mornings with hot coffee and long, September evenings under the open sky.

Mały balkon w bloku: jak urządzić przytulny kącik na świeżym powietrzu

A small balcony in an apartment building: how to create a cozy outdoor nook

Two or three square meters of stoneware tiles in a city apartment block are enough to create the most pleasant spot in the entire home. A small balcony doesn’t have to serve as a drying rack for laundry or a storage space for cardboard boxes. With a little sense of proportion, it’s easy to turn it into an intimate corner for a morning black coffee and a quiet evening with a book. Focus on one comfortable accent The most common mistake in small spaces is forcing in full sets—a table and four folding chairs that you then have to squeeze between. Instead of dividing a narrow area into tiny pieces, it is better to choose one main piece of furniture. A wide, low armchair with rounded shapes or a deep, compact chaise longue with cushions will provide much more real comfort than a whole battery of hard chairs. Let your greenery climb Every pot placed directly on the floor takes up precious legroom. If you want to shield yourself from neighbors' eyes and create a green backdrop, make use of the walls and railings: Planters mounted on the outside of the railing leave the entire floor free. A simple wooden panel on a side wall allows you to train climbing plants (e.g., ivy or honeysuckle) vertically. A narrow hanging shelf can hold fresh herbs—mint for cold water, basil, and rosemary. Visual lightness and an urban reset A cramped balcony doesn't like dark, bulky furniture that blocks the light entering the room. A light palette—sandy beiges, off-whites, or warm, earthy tones—makes the space appear optically larger. The finishing touches are moisture-resistant cushions and a loosely thrown blanket for cooler evenings. One portable lantern with a warm glow placed in a corner creates a mood without the need to run cables through the entire apartment. Coffee drunk in the fresh air tastes completely different, regardless of whether you are looking at the center of Warsaw or the roofs of neighboring tenement houses. Just sit back, slow down, and simply enjoy the moment!
